We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Mrs. Archana Shastri as a Trustee of Sulochana Development Trust. Mrs. Shastri is presently the head of department of Kaladarshana division of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) that are facilitating the dissemination of cultural
heritage through exhibitions, workshops, seminars and events. She has a rich and diverse experience in Art and Design education, Theatre, Crafts, research and publications. Archana has been the chairperson of Fashion Design and then Fashion communication department in National
Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi, and established sound design education and academic streamlining during her tenure.

ICICI Fellows

ICICI Fellows is a social leadership programme intended to train and equip India’s emerging talent to stage the country’s development at the grassroots level. It is a 2-year intensive programme that focuses on personal coaching, mentorship, experiential modules and hands-on training (in addition to management training) to provide an insight into social dynamics. After completion of 2 months of training, the selected fellows will be deployed in a leading NGO, anywhere in India.

Global Changemakers is a global network of young community activists, volunteer workers or social entrepreneurs that provides opportunities to share experiences and help young people make practical and visible differences in their communities, countries and regions.
It is an initiative of the British Council, which is currently working with the World Economic Forum (WEF). It also aims to work with other international forums such as the UN to ensure that the youth voice is heard and the participants’ skills are shaped by the experience.

iVolunteer is an initiative seeking to create a volunteering movement in India. It works through its volunteer centres and various non-profit partners to create a volunteering infrastructure that will reduce the time and cost of recruiting volunteers and thereby making it easier for volunteers to make a difference in their local community.
One can choose from a range of volunteering opportunities that support issues like HIV/AIDS, children, senior citizens, the environment, animals and differently abled people, that may be of various durations: one-time, short term, long term and online.
They also offer fellowships – iVolunteer India Fellow is an exclusive volunteering programme that offers an opportunity to work at the grass-root level for a full-time period of 2 months, while the iVolunteer India Fellow Youth Programme is targeted at a younger audience, for those looking to serve 6 months in rural areas.

The Center for Social Initiative & Management (CSIM) is a business school that enables social entrepreneurs with professional competence to excel in individual initiatives, build social consciousness and catalyze social change.
